Welfare Support Program

Program Overview

This program strengthens household stability by addressing key gaps in nutrition and essential household items—creating a stable and nurturing environment where children can grow, stay in school, and benefit fully from education and health support.

How the Program Works

Step 1: Household Needs Assessment
We conduct home visits through field officers or community partners to assess:

  • Food security

  • Hygiene conditions

  • Basic household infrastructure

  • Gaps in nutrition, sanitation, and essential domestic items

Step 2: Monthly Welfare Package Distribution
Package Components include:

  • Nutrition support: staple foods (maize meal, rice, beans), protein sources, cooking oil, fortified foods

  • Household essentials: soap, sanitary products, blankets, mosquito nets, basic cookware

  • Distribution Model:
    • Direct procurement by the Foundation from vetted suppliers
    • Monthly distribution to households or designated community hubs

Step 3: Feedback and Accountability
We engage families in feedback and accountability processes to improve relevance, delivery, and transparency over time.
